Description

Micro shelter in the Arizona desert, inhabited seasonally since 2000 by students at the School of Architecture at Taliesin. New steel and polycarbonate structure is superimposed upon the ‘artifact’ of concrete and stone, creating a dialogue between historic and contemporary forms. A grassy lawn cantilevers over a dry wash, further intensifying the contrast between the natural environment and the transient human intervention.
